Rick Smith, our founder and CEO, spent years inside dealerships, on showroom floors, and in management offices. He knows the pace, the pressure, and the people. Before launching Impact Promotions, Rick managed several New York dealerships, where he learned firsthand what moves inventory, motivates teams, and earns customer loyalty.
His transition into direct mail advertising wasn't a leap. It was a natural next step. He built Impact to give dealers the kind of marketing partner he always wished he had. In 2001, he took everything he'd learned and founded Impact Promotions, Inc.

As a former General Manager, he understands firsthand the challenges dealerships face and how to reach customers in meaningful ways. Known for his personable nature and love of face-to-face conversations, he never meets a stranger. Rick continues to lead Impact with the same passion, drive, and vision that started it all 25 years ago.

With 15 years on the team, she’s become the right hand of the company and the steady force that keeps everything connected. Known for her attention to detail and love of a good comma, Caitlyn makes sure every list is accurate, every deadline is met, and every project stays on track.
